Styra is a traditional mountain village in South Evia situated on the main road that connects the capital town of Chalkida with Karystos.

The seaport village is Nea Styra, a seaside resort with lots of tourist facilities and many modern hotel accommodations. It is located 89 km from the capital city of Chalkida and has a port that is connected by ferryboat to Agia Marina in Attica with very regular ferry schedules.
