Olive tree has always been the archetypal image of Greece – Peloponnese in particular – since the 10th century AD. Olive oil is a centuries-old elixir for Mediterranean people.

Talking about Corinth, it is a lovely place with great olive oil & wine tradition, featuring an ecological value that formed along with the wonderful geographical features, fertility and welfare, under the ideal conditions of Mediterranean climate.

Greeks have been blessed and fortunate to have been for years loyal devotees of agriculture, producing one of the best olive oils & wines in the world.

Qoppa (or Koppa, pronounced in Greek Κόππα) is a letter of the early Greek alphabet between the letter p (π) and the letter r (ρ) which equaled sound with k (κ). The idea of this brand name stems from the ancient Corinthian coin, on which Pegasus was imprinted and constitutes until today the emblem of the Municipality of Corinth and of the City of Corinth.

Along with olive oil tasting, we go explore the wineries and vineyards of Corinthia, the richest wine country in Greece.

Many vineyards have been here for more than a century but more & more producers are emerging as people realise the quality of these fertile lands.

There are a number of different wineries located in Corinth region, each producing their own variety of wine. Many of these wineries allow visitors to come and visit the winery and also sample some of their wines.
